Some packaging variants also mention sulfur as a key ingredient, which I later learned makes a difference in dealing with particularly oily or acne-prone areas.

Ingredients

I’m always a little cautious with bar soaps because they often dry me out, but the ingredient list here struck a balance between power and care. It uses natural palm-derived bases, and includes salicylic acid for chemical exfoliation and apricot seed powder and walnut shell powder for the physical aspect.

It also contains glycerin, which drew me in—it’s a known humectant and made me hopeful it wouldn’t completely strip my skin. You immediately feel the grit of the exfoliants, which I liked—it gave a satisfying scrub. But if your skin leans toward sensitive, this might feel a bit rough, so don’t overdo it. The bar is easy to grip and rinses off clean without leaving behind a greasy film.

A little goes a long way, so you don’t need to keep reapplying during use.

Effectiveness

In terms of performance, I was impressed. Within the first two weeks, I noticed my skin, especially on my upper arms and back, felt smoother and looked clearer. It visibly reduced the severity of my keratosis pilaris, a condition I’ve struggled with for years.
